Accommodation Details

If you will be joining, make sure you to keep this in mind when deciding how many nights to book. More details on timing and location will be shared as we get closer!

Option 1: New London Inn

Distance from venue:~20 minutes⠀Best for:Guests who prefer a traditional hotel stay⠀Details: This charming New England inn offers private hotel rooms and a traditional stay experience.⠀Note: The room block is now full however there may be additional rooms available at hotel. Option 2: Local Airbnbs & VRBOs

Distance from venue:Varies Best for:Guests who prefer their own space or are traveling with a group Details: There are several nearby Airbnbs/VRBO that are great options for couples, families, or groups traveling together. You can check out what is available at <a href="http://airbnb.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">airbnb.com</a> or <a href="http://vrbo.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">VRBO.com</a> Many listings currently offer flexible cancellation policies, but availability is limited so booking early is recommended. Transportation:Guests staying at Airbnbs should plan to arrange their own transportation/driving - with this being a more remote area, there are limited taxis **If you choose an Airbnb located near the ski mountain, the shuttle may be able to pick up in that area. Must be booked on Ragged Mountain Road, Dunlap Road or New Canada Road (portion between Dunlap &amp; Plowman Road) Please refer to the map below for guidance and let us know if you book one of these houses. The shuttle is expected to run: to/from the wedding &amp; to/from after party. Timing and routes are still being finalized - we will share final details as we get closer to the wedding date. Note: This is a more rural area so rideshare and taxi availability may be limited. We recommend planning transportation in advance.

Option 3: Other Local Inns & Lodge

Best for: Guests who would like additional hotel or inn options nearby and are not interested in New London Inn.⠀There are a handful of other inns &amp; bed &amp; breakfasts in the surrounding area in New London that may be a great fit depending on your preferences and availability.⠀We recommend searching this via Google.⠀Transportation:Guests will need to arrange their own transportation to and from wedding if staying at a different Inn or B&amp;B. If you’re staying near downtown New London, you’re welcome to use the shuttle at the New London Inn and arrange transportation between the inn and your accommodations!

Option 4: Bigger Chain Hotels in Tilton & Plymouth

Distance from venue:~40 minutes Best for:Guests who prefer larger chain hotels.If you prefer a more traditional hotel, there is a Fairfield Inn, Holiday Inn &amp; Hampton Inn located in Plymouth, NH &amp; Tilton, NH Transportation:Transportation will not be provided, so guests staying here will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the wedding. Note: This is a more rural area, so rideshare and taxi availability may be limited. We recommend planning transportation in advance.

Things to do in the area

The area surrounding Ragged Mountain is quiet and scenic. If you have some free time, grab breakfast in New London, visit one of the nearby lakes, enjoy a local brewery, or spend some time outdoors.⠀**WALK, BIKE OR HIKE**There are plenty of trails within a relatively short drive, with options ranging from leisurely walks and bike rides to challenging mountain hikes. The Northern Rail Trail runs through Danbury and is a great choice for an easy walk or bike ride. Profile Falls in Bristol offers a short walk to a scenic waterfall.⠀For those looking to hike, Mount Kearsarge has a popular loop of approximately three miles with panoramic views from the summit. Ragged Mountain and the surrounding area also offer several hiking trails for those interested in a longer outing.⠀Visit <a href="https://www.alltrails.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">AllTrails.com</a> for route details, recent conditions, and additional options. November weather can bring mud, ice, or snow, so please plan accordingly.⠀**EXPLORE THE WHITE MOUNTAINS**Franconia Notch and the White Mountains are a little over an hour away and make a great half-day or full-day trip. Visitors can enjoy a scenic drive, walk or bike a portion of the Franconia Notch Recreational Path, or choose from numerous hikes throughout the area.For experienced hikers looking for a full-day adventure, Mount Lafayette and the Franconia Ridge Loop is one of our favorite hikes in the White Mountains. The approximately nine-mile hike is difficult, but the ridgeline and surrounding mountain views are absolutely incredible!⠀Since this is a full day excursion, we recommend this to those who will be in area on Friday or Sunday and looking for something to do!⠀**GOLF**Owl’s Nest Resort is approximately an hour away. Its outdoor golf course may still be open, depending on the weather and its indoor golf simulators are available year-round. We recommend checking availability and reserving in advance.⠀**EXPLORE THE LAKES**Lake Sunapee and Lake Winnipesaukee are both within driving distance if you’d like to see some of New Hampshire’s beautiful lakes! Visit Sunapee Harbor for a peaceful waterfront stop, or head to Meredith, approximately 40 minutes away.⠀**LOCAL BREWERIES**A few breweries in the area include Hoptimystic Brewing in Sunapee, the Flying Goose Brew Pub in New London, and Shackett’s Brewing Company in Bristol. Please check current hours before visiting.

If you are traveling from out of town &amp; flying in, here are the best options for getting to Ragged Mountain in Danbury, NH⠀⠀**CLOSEST AIRPORTS**⠀Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT): Approximately 1 hour from the venue; smallerairport⠀Boston Logan International Airport (BOS): Approximately 2 hours from the venue; larger airport⠀**GETTING TO THE VENUE**⠀We recommend renting a car from the airport, as this is the easiest way to get to the venue and surrounding accommodations.⠀Ragged Mountain is located in a more rural area, and rideshare and taxi services are limited.

Q & A 

If I need to fly in, what is the closet airport? ⠀If you are traveling from out of town &amp; flying in, the closet airports are Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) - approximately 1 hour from the venue and Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) - approximately 2 hours from the venue.⠀We recommend renting a car from the airport, as this is the easiest way to get to the venue and surrounding accommodations.⠀Do I need to arrange my own transportation to and from the event? ⠀If you are staying at the New London Inn, New Hampshire Mountain Inn or certain specified Airbnbs, a shuttle will be provided. For any other arrangements, please arrange your own transportation. Check the Accommodations page for more details and RSVP accordingly!⠀Should I arrive Friday or Saturday?⠀The wedding will take place on Saturday, but we’d love to celebrate with you for as long as you’re able - especially knowing this may be a bit further of a trip for some guests. We’ll be hosting welcome drinks on Friday evening for anyone who would like to join at:⠀The Elms Restaurant &amp; Bar353 Main St, New London, NH 03257⠀What is there to do in the area?⠀Ragged Mountain is located in a beautiful part of New Hampshire, with plenty of outdoor activities nearby including hiking and access to the White Mountains.⠀Please see 'Explore The Area' tab for ideas on things to do.⠀What time should I arrive?⠀The ceremony will start at 3pm on Saturday and last around 15-20 minutes. We recommend arriving 20-30 minutes before the ceremony start time to allow for parking and getting settled.⠀Where is the ceremony located?⠀The ceremony will be located close to the entrance of Ragged Mountain - ceremony site is located on 'New Canada Road' between numbers 9 &amp; 18 New Canada Road. You should see signage &amp; staff to help direct you when you arrive⠀Coordinates to input into GPS for Ceremony site: 43.490720, -71.841695⠀This is a ~10 minute walk from reception -- shuttle transport will be provided to take everyone up or you can drive if arriving with own transportation.⠀Will the ceremony be outdoors?⠀Our goal is to have the ceremony outdoors on grass, weather permitting so make sure you dress accordingly. The reception will be held indoors.⠀Are there bathrooms at ceremony site? ⠀There are no bathrooms located at ceremony site but you are more than welcome to use bathrooms at Ragged Mountain facility at top of hill (~10 minute walk or quick drive)⠀What is the dress code?⠀The dress code is cocktail attire.⠀Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors, so we recommend bringing a jacket or something warm!⠀Are kids invited?⠀We love your little ones, but unless they are specifically named on your invitation, this will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!⠀Is there parking at the venue?⠀Yes, there is on-site parking available. You’re also welcome to leave your car overnight if needed!⠀Will there be an after-party?⠀We will be hosting an after party and everyone is welcome to join us! After party will be at the New Hampshire Mountain Inn right down the road (~5 min drive). Will start right after wedding ends and go until around midnight.⠀Address is: 318 New Canada Rd, Wilmot, NH 03287⠀Are there any mobility considerations we should know about?⠀The reception will be held on the second floor of the lodge and requires going up stairs.
